Science

The 6th-8th grade content covers a variety of topics and spirals that content over a 3 year period. Students supplement their understanding of the sciences by exploring the natural world around them with labs and activities. The NYS NGSS Learning Standards are spread out throughout the 3 year course. Interactive Science Notebooks become a critical component of science mastery in middle school. Emphasis is placed on proper data collection and notes organization.
